OUR ANALYSIS APPROACH

Blue Mesa offers a number of assessment and analysis services that are part of our core offerings. These services can be contracted stand-alone or part of a bigger engagement. Since the initial assessment and analysis step of any project is the first part of the engagement, we take it very seriously at Blue Mesa.

The first step in any project is to understand the problem. This might sound easy, but in reality, this is where most projects fail. The proposed solution might have the best managers, designers, developers and testers on the project, but it is doomed to failure from the beginning. Why is this? The reason is that too many consultancies don’t take the time and effort required to truly understand the end users and their needs. Many times, solutions are proposed that don’t fit the culture, technology, or working style of the company. if any of this sounds familiar, we’re here to help.

At Blue Mesa we take special care to ensure that we understand our clients and their users. With our business and technology experience, we will propose a solution that fits your company’s business and technology strategy. The solutions we propose will build on your previous success with other projects by building on top of them. Our solutions tend to be more along the lines of integration and reuse of existing systems – rather then the rip-and-replace solutions that so many other consultancies propose. In this way, we promote a distinct value for our clients by reusing existing resources.

And what happens when we encounter a client that we can’t help? Or if we don’t have the technical know-how to execute a project? We will let our client know this since our relationship and trust is more important. We can then recommend one of our partners and hope the client will think of us when another project suited for us comes up.
