Our Methodology
There are many projects going on in a company – No two are exactly alike. Each project has a different goal and scope. So why would you use a single monumental methodology to implement an ERP System and then try to use that same methodology to develop a departmental size system? At Blue Mesa we wouldn’t!
Our preference is to work closely with our clients making sure their projects are carefully guided by a framework of tasks and milestones that deliver results.
Our methodology is agile, designed for flexibility and scalability. Agile does not mean “the absence of” – in this case structure. What it does mean is the client is a part of every decision and invited to see the solution as it is assembled through all the stages of the methodology.
Talking is important and so is listening, but being able to show a client their emerging user interface, carries many more benefits. For as good a job as you think you’ve done building an image with words it’s never quite the same as the client expects. It’s much better to know if you interpreted their vision correctly sooner than later when changes are far more expensive – and there will be changes.
Our methodology provides the controls needed to manage large scale projects with teams between 25 and 50 people. And that same methodology framework can be sized to include just those elements needed to guarantee success for the simplest departmental project.
